NATIONAL TRAILS DAY SERVICE PROJECT - PRINCE WILLIAM FOREST PARK

WHAT:  National Trails Day Service Project
WHERE:  Prince William Forest Park, Triangle, VA.  Meet at Pine Grove Picnic
Area (near Visitors Center).  Participants gain free entrance into the park.

WHEN:  Saturday, 7 June 2008, Onsite Registration:  8:30 - 9:30 am; Onsite
Work - 9:30 am - 2:30 pm.
WHY:  To restore Taylor Farm Road to a safe condition for hikers and
mountain bikers and to celebrate National Trails Day
WHAT TO BRING:  Dress for the weather, and bring water, leather work gloves,
shovels and pick axes (marked with family name), and a bag lunch
WHO:  Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts, Venture Scouts, Adult Leaders, Parents,
and Siblings at least 11 years of age.  Participating organizations include
Prince William Forest Park, the Potomac Application Trail Club,
Mid-Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts, and REI, Fairfax, VA
FORMS:  All participants must complete the National Park Service agreement
form (see attached).
