[Troop-42 Adults] Summer Camp

Parents,

        Summer Camp this year will go on August 3-9, 2008.  There are two options for you.  The troop will be going to the Goshen reservation where there will be two camps you can choose for your son.  The first is Camp Olmstead which we went to two years ago.  All the boys enjoyed it.  The adults will be at Camp Olmstead.  The second camp is camp Marriott.  They will be hosting a "Trail to Eagle" camp for boys over 13.  We will not have any of our adults there, but the boys will be supervised by the camp staff.  Camp Marriott offers an introduction to every Eagle required merit badge and also teaches scouts how to complete their Eagle project.  We need to put our deposit in this month to ensure we get our reservation.  With that in mind, I need to know which camp you want to send your son to on those dates (Regular or Eagle).

        The cost for camp will be $265 per scout.  We will collect an additional $10 per scout to cover transportation costs.  The first 1/2 ($137) will be due by 17 February, and the second 1/2 ($138) will be due by 16 March.  All but 15% is refundable if you cannot attend.  Money cannot be refunded until the camp refunds it (usually around September 1st).
