[Adults] Troop 42 receives a special award!

Parents,

 

            I wanted to take the time to tell you how blessed I am to know
all your sons.  At their first district campout, the boys won the "Scout
Spirit" award.  This award was given based on the boy's behavior and
attitude.  Two of the district scouters made a trip over to our camp to tell
us we had won, and to let us know it wasn't even close.  Our boys have made
quite an impression on the district leadership each time they have been
observed.  Dennis always thanks me for what I am doing, but I must confess
that I do very little when compared to many of the Scoutmasters in our
district.  You as parents have made my role very easy by providing me with
malleable boys who are willing and able to meet challenges.  Thank you, and
please congratulate your sons.
